Advisor: Do you charge for financial plans?

... or do you simply do the plan as a part of your complete fee?

Mark's Response: We charge a flat fee for getting each Ideal Client's financial house in perfect order and keeping it that way for the rest of their lives.

A comprehensive lifetime written financial plan is a component of our service.

We would not create a financial plan for a client who is not a member of our Ideal Client community; we would refer them to a competent financial planer

We have a Form ADV disclosure and a "client services agreement" both which describe The Ten Client Deliverables™ we deliver to all our Ideal Clients along with the member of our team who will provide each deliverable to the client (whether in-sourced or out-sourced).

As with any legal documents you should hire an attorney to draft or review your own customized versions before use. Here is an internal description we have of The Ten Client Deliverables™:

Mark McKenna Little Speaker, Author & Trusted Advisor. In 1999 I was ready to leave the financial services industry; not because I wasn’t financially successful (I had built a multi-six figure business), but because I was overwhelmed. I had waaay too many clients & worked 84 hours per week. Rather than quit my business, I decided to try one last thing: I became passionate about relentlessly creating and implementing organized documented systems and processes into my practice. I was able to reduce my workweek to 3 days a week while quadrupling my income to well over $1 million per year of predictable recurring revenue.
