To implement a fully comprehensive financial practice, you must choose to take steps every day toward your goal.

Financial Advisors choose the right sodaHave you heard about the law of the soda machine? Many people have heard about the law of attraction. According to that law, your thoughts control your emotions, and your emotions determine your results. The law of the soda machine takes it a step further.

Let’s say at the end of the day you’re tired, you’re faced with a choice; do you pick up the phone and make a few more calls? Do you talk to one of your team members about how to enhance a deliverable that you’re working on?

You’re at your soda machine moment. You get to choose what soda you want. You’re free to choose at any given moment how you’re going to react. You can just say, “I don’t feel like it. I’m tired today.”

Every morning when you get up you’re looking at that soda machine and are faced with the decision, “What kind of day am I going to have today?” You get to choose which button you’ll press. Are you going to have a great day where fantastic things are going to happen? Or are you going to coast today, being lazy and taking the day off? That’s the law of the soda machine; you get to choose.

If you truly want to offer fully comprehensive financial services, the only way to make it happen is to quit thinking about it and start doing it. Yes, visualization of what you want your business and life to be like is vitally important to successfully implementing this new practice. You can’t stop there, however.

Here are some suggestions for fully achieving your goals:

Have the courage to launch your plan and just commit that you’re going to finish it with your staff. By delegating your vision to your staff, you’re increasing the probability that this commitment will unfold to conclusion.

Your beliefs rule your reality. If you believe something to be true then it’s going to drive your actions in a certain way. The more passionately you believe in a thing, the more likely you’re going to perceive the world that way.

Remember the law of soda machine. You choose emotions and actions that move you toward these goals. You challenge your mental road blocks and self-limiting beliefs which now earns you the right to receive the full benefit of the law of attraction. Mark McKenna Little Speaker, Author & Trusted Advisor. In 1999 I nearly left the financial services industry, forever. I had built a multi-six figure business but I was killing myself working 84 hours per week trying to serve waaay too many clients on a transaction basis. Rather than quitting I decided to try one last completely radical idea: I crafted an entirely different business model focused on delivering TRULY comprehensive financial services. And it worked! I reduced my workload to just 3 days per week while quadrupling my business to well over $1 Million per year of predictable recurring revenue.
